EMERGENCY POLICY

This is in the case of a medical emergency following specific treatments

After your treatment an AFTER CARE LEAFLET would of been given to you explaining signs/symptoms to look hours/days after your treatment.

​

BLOOD LOSS - this can be from filler treatment or vein treatment.  Superficial blood loss may occur but extensive blood loss is very uncommon.

​

Apply pressure with a clean towel to the area - WAIT 5 minutes. 


If the blood loss is not reducing or worsening contact the Practitioner (07852343831).

DO NOT wait for the Practitioner to respond & either ask for someone to take you to A&E or contact 111

​

You may feel dizzy and therefore lie down and eat something sweet and drink.

​

AFTER FILLER TREATMENT!!

​

1.   Pain - this is increased pain

​

2  Blanching - area appears pale.

​

Press a clean finger onto the skin for 3 secs - lift off and if the normal color does not return CONTACT THE PRACTITIONER IMMEDIATELY!!!

​

3.  If the skin feels colder than skin around

​

THE ABOVE SYMPTOMS MAY BE DUE TO THE START OF NECROSIS - death of the tissue 

​

CONTACT THE PRACTITIONER IMMEDIATELY - 07852343831


You will be invited to the clinic and the filler will be dissolved

ANAPHYLAXIS - this is an EMERGENCY MEDICAL issue

Signs of Anaphylaxis  -    THIS NEEDS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

​

This needs immediate HOSPITAL A&E treatment - if you are in clinic the appropriate

medical treatment will be given BUT an ambulance will always be called 

​

If you are not in clinic seek medical treatment immediately - & if able inform them what treatment you have been given 

​
 

  • Skin reactions such as itching and hives

  • Flushed and pale Skin

  • Lower blood pressure

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Choking

  • Weak and rapid pulse rate

  • Vomiting

  • Nausea

  • Dizziness or fainting
